Thursday was the deadline for the Greek bond deal, so markets very cautious. I decided to sit on the sidelines during Thursday and had to leave early on Friday, so all in all, a quiet week. I will be back on Monday for more trading though.

Not a great week, took an early short on BARC today but my entry was poor, closed almost flat as the buyers kept coming back all day.

No real damage done, just frustrating closing too early on a couple of trades on BLT.

A difficult week, stocks in my watchlist trading in tight ranges, LLOY sold off today on its results, and I missed a repeat of yesterday's short about 37p.

Still, a proftible week is better than a losing week that's for sure.

Next week I'll be looking for more volatility, I'm wondering if the FTSE has made a short term high @ 5962.92.

Trading was quiet, but I did miss a few nice moves, especially BARC on Friday am (down to 225, reversed to 244 on huge volume).

BLT also peaked @ 2205 then sold off over the next couple of days to 2033.

Thoughts

The first 15 mins of the session is often really crucial, and I must ensure that I'm 100% focussed at this time.


It's too easy to sit and watch and take no action, thereby missing some of the best trades.
